Mr. Anthony Playle has held several senior management positions at multinational corporations. Most notably he was Vice-President of European Co-ordination for Commercial Operations at Aventis (1999-2001) and previous to that he held the position of Vice-President Business Development and Strategic Planning, Europe (1998-99) and UK Deputy Managing Director at Hoechst Marion Roussel (1995-98). He has also served as Director of Strategic Development at Hoechst Roussel (1992-95).

Mr. Playle has more than thirty-five years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. His responsibilities have included country and regional executive management, alliance management, merger integration, price/reimbursement optimization, strategic brand management, government negotiations, strategic planning, business development, manufacturing and product development. Geographically, Mr. Playle's management activities have extended to all of Europe, North America and Japan.
